Intro
Howdy! I’m Ana, a San Antonio-based communications professional bringing significant experience in strategic communications, digital marketing, writing, content creation and media relations across varied sectors, including food and beverage, performing arts, nonprofits, commercial real estate and healthcare.
Over the last 16 years, I’ve honed my strategy development, campaign planning and media management skills for organizations, including Whataburger, Texas Beef Council/Beef Loving Texans, Texas Department of Agriculture, McLane Company, Central Texas Food Bank, Las Casas Foundation (now The Majestic Empire Foundation), James Beard Awards® semifinalist Clementine, The Historic Pearl, Bohanan’s Prime Steaks & Seafood, 13th Floor Haunted House, Eddie V’s Restaurants, San Antonio Cocktail Conference, Women in the World and more.
In 2015, I earned a Nonprofit Social Media Communications certification from the H-E-B School of Business and Administration at the University of the Incarnate Word and San Antonio Area Foundation. In 2018, I was awarded the El Bronce Award of Merit from the Public Relations Society of America, San Antonio for my social media efforts to promote Las Casas Foundation’s Joci Awards. I’m also currently serving my second consecutive term as a panelist reviewing grant applications for San Antonio's Department of Arts & Culture.
